Riccardo has toured the Palace and captured images showing the current state of the Palace. Absolutely beautiful, and we aren't done yet!

Top floor, Sanctuary side. Ceiling removed and beams left exposed.

The courtyard with the new stone window frames. This is one of the few places where we can actually admire the beautiful new roof. No, we will not drop the sewage tank into the open well!

Looking into the courtyard from Mary and Eivind's fourth floor window.

The arches that lead from the piazza side of the Place to the Sanctuary side. Our bathtub has moved yet again!

Fourth floor looking into the master bath.

Fourth floor office for Mary and Eivind. From these windows you can see much of Umbria.

Arches leading from the piazza to the private courtyard,

Arched entrance to the third floor of the tower. The exposed walls show the signs of many changes over the centuries.

The view from the corridor which connects the courtyard to the rear of the Palace. The door on the left leads to to the vaulted room under the tower.

The vaulted room under the tower. This is likely the oldest existing structure in Castel Rigone.

The view through the ground floor arched room into the upper floor of the garage. A walk in fireplace is being built on the right.

The newly built arch on the left, adds to the beauty of the historic arches built in 1297 as part of Castel Rigone fortified walls.

The upper level is the garage is not recognizable from its former self.

We can see from the second floor dining room through the third floor up to master suite ceiling.. Paolo has created a masterpiece!

The new pool almost looks like a moat against the restored walls of the Palace.

The palace is a triangle and and the tower is one corner.

The former room for the wine fermentation vats has been turned into Michael and Debra's new entrance. It looks like it was always there but we know the truth!
