After 18 months and a worldwide pandemic, the owners now return.
Even the man hole covers need to use different materials in order to camouflage them.
The last step to complete the courtyard is to pour the aggregate.
We are using some of the remaining courtyard stones to create a walk along the rear of the Palace.
The brick border in the courtyard is now complete.
The brick border in the courtyard provides a nice contrast to the ancient stones under the arches.
Paolo is making sure the courtyard is prepared for the brick border and concrete aggregate.
Iron railings have been added to the terrace.
The ancient stones between the Piazza entrance and the courtyard are complete.
After a hard day's work we can walk a few feet to the Piazza bar to celebrate.
We can appreciate the beauty of the ground floor after the radiant heat is covered with plaster.
The plaster is poured over the heating pipes on the ground floor.
The work installing the bathroom mosaics continues.
The ground floor heating is finally installed.
Despite the size and weight of the courtyard stones we are still very accurate.
Our stones have made the turn and are headed toward the piazza entrance.
The balcony overlooking the Sanctuary has been reinforced.
With the work nearly done around the pool, we can bring in the dirt to grade the rear.
Cutting the courtyard stones is dirty work.
The stones are now placed under the arches between the courtyard and the piazza entrance.
